Where the Outback meets Queensland’s Gulf Savannah, North West Queensland is the largest region in Queensland located just four hours west of Townsville.
Stretching from the Northern Territory border in the west to the Great Dividing Range in the east and north to the Gulf of Carpentaria, the region covers almost half a million square kilometres in area and thousands of kilometres of Australia’s most scenic and iconic highways and drive adventures such as the Savannah Way and Overlanders Way.
